Is Repairing my system worth the cost?

Yes,  in most circumstances repair or replacement is the most cost effective.  Of course, each situation should be evaluated for its particular merrits and feasability.

Do you do general machining as well as gear manufacturing?

Yes,  Gear Tech is has a full machine shop with all the "traditional" machinery as well as CNC and the gear department.

Can you fix or modify the gears in my car, truck, SUV or other road vehicle?

Yes, if the car is a special purpose car (off road / race / show)

No, if the vehicle is a privately owned On-road vehicle.

Can you weld/ fabricate stairs and hand rails?

Yes,  we can design, fabricate, paint and install !!

Can I just fax my drawings to you for quote?

Yes, you can fax, or e-mail the information to us and we will quote the project usually within a week.

Do you stock/ inventory power transmission products for retail sale?

No, we are not a stocking distributor for any maufacture (Martin-boston-linn ect.) 

GTI does however inventory item at customers request for their custom and Immediate needs.  This is a service for established customers only.

Can you come to my facility and perform field installation and repairs?

Yes,  Gear Tech has full service field and fabrication available- 24/ 7 to perform the work in the field or just at your facility.  This includes welding, fabricating, machining, installation, and repair.

Are you AMSE certified / Do you posess a current "R" or "U" stamp?

Yes,we can build new ("U"), repair/ alter ("R") high pressure vessel and tanks.

Can you make a replacement part for my "John Deere" (any large privately owned tractor)?

Yes,  however we have found that usually the costs involved in replacing these parts is often greater that the actual value of the tractor.  We recomend that a customer pursue the "bone-yards" or other sources of OEM replacements before investing in a custom manufactured replacement part.
